Are you sure you tractor is a 1931, if so it should be a side steer. The side steer steering support is the same as all standard models and it fairly easy to find. As far as the front pedestal if it is a true top steer 1932-33 the pedestal is next thing to impossible to find. The side steer pedestals are almost as hard to find. Do you have a serial number or pictures to help figure out what parts you need.

If that is the gpwt out of Waterloo Wi. About $ 6000.00 will buy you what you need. Oop's forgot someone took the pto and power lift off another 700.00.

The gpwt is on tractor house at Wilkes tractor. Did this tractor have a pto and a power lift ? What is the tractor worth? Where can you find a steering support to fix back to original ? Is 10k a good deal ? Thanks Jimmy

Just be aware, as 40 JD G said above, it's not an overhead steer. It's been modified sometime in the past. Don't know much about GPWT, but 403333 was not originally an overhead steer.
Hope this helps.

Tractor geek, Yes that is the Wilkes tractor, it was bought at Polks this fall. The parts for the steering were sold separate . The Pto and power lift were taken off also, along with the lugs and guide bands. Good luck !

Here is where they got the tractor and what it sold for, $7750. In my opinion, that is the price the tractor is worth to most people. The best thing about that tractor is the fact it has the original steel wheels all around. To get the correct steering parts I would say reproduction and original pieces will be around $1000. If you need a pedestal then double or triple that price. A lot depends on just how many parts that you need to get, but they are available. To me it looks like the front pedestal is usable, is there something I can not see? I am currently restoring a GPWT myself and they are not cheap. No GP's are cheap to restore.

Thanks for the information on the gpwt. I usually attend the
Polk auction every year ,but missed it this time. This tractor
was a side steer changed to atop steer. Also was told this
tractor had a lot of parts ( including the correct steering parts
) that where sold separately . Thanks to everyone for your
spy info .I think I,ll keep looking for another .
