"R" cab info. as what I have been told about them: 405 were built. Production was stopped at the start of WW 2. Selling price was around $ 175.00. They could be installed at the factory or one could be bought latter for dealer installation. There are 2 or 3 styles types , due to small variations. As of this past summer there are about 85 to 90 known, some restored , some not.
The following guys are very well informed on " R " cabs
Rex Mercer @765 778 3868
Butch Fuder @ 218 736 4769
We were able to get ours bought in 1980,It took several yrs. to get it restored and mounted. Makes a nice show tractor now.

Thanks Clint. According to Mr.Fuder, I have something different than an "R" cab. Will post pictures of it in another topic on this forum. |

I do remember seeing an ad for aftermarket cabs in the 1950s with one pictured on a ZAU. It didnt look too bad. Ive seen a couple on some 77 Olivers as well. |
