What a playoff series. But the New Yak Skankies did it again. One heck of a series, and the Birds made a stab at it. Some great pitcjhing on both sides, and though the Yanks won, both teams were, for all intents and purposes, about as equal as you could get. Just a few lucky hits made a difference. Go Cards- Beat the Bronx Bums.....

As a long-time baseball fan, I kept waiting through August and September for the Oriole to "fold." And they didn't. My hats off to them.
But--the Tigers do concern me. At this point, if the Yankees get eliminated and the Cards keep going, I'll be wearing a Cardinal's hat.
