here is my AC 56F forage harvester chopping stalks. I bought it and 2 parts units from my neighbor 2 winters ago. It needed work and still does, this next summer I am going to put a new auger and auger pan and blower bearings and have a new front hood made for it. I am in need of a few parts that all of my units do not have like the auger drive belt shield and complete shield for the rotor drive belt set. If any of you have these parts it would be greatly apprieciated even if you dont want to sell if i would be able to use your orginial as a template and make a couple new ones. Here are the pictures |

There were only something like 1500 of the 56F choppers built. My grandfather had a brand new one and really liked it,the cupped flails have alot suction and when new would even pick up ears of corn.My Dad was using the 56F to put alfalfa hay in the silo the day president Kennedy was shot.Almost everyone of that age remembers where they were and what they were doing when they found out. |

Well if they made that few I would assume that finding parts for any now would be like finding hens teeth. It does have very good suction with the cupped flails, I really like it for chopping the stalks, I got 4 more loads to do we only are going to do 24 loads |
