the sherman works !!!
this machine has been through the wars though. none of the hyd. lift pieces are original and there are no check chains or brackets for them.
the hyd. held up the blade for over four hours before the blade touched ground. when i took the blade off the lift arms immediately raised. the control lever will not stay all the way down. also the lift arms will not go all the way down on their own and the hyd. chatters abit when raising the blade. the spring under the seat for the hyd. is loose. turns very easily.
the steering is tight. almost no play at all. it starts so easily it is almost scary although the starter will need some work. it hangs up sometimes.
the oil pressure went up to 60 when i started it this am then settled settled on 20 after the engine warmed up.
don't know yet if i want make it all correct or try and flip it and make a couple of bucks. either way i am keeping the blade and chains.
happy camper so far anyway. |
