Working on this mower that rust and abuse have damaged.
The discharge chute #26521 is available new, but I am going to patch the existing one. This chute is on the left side of the mower. If you have one of these mowers, I will be grateful to have the flat top of that chute measured and the longest dimension to the rear point posted.
Thanks for your help. |

That chute broke off my mower years ago. Didn't need it anyway. |

No chute on mine either. Did not have one from new. I took the plate off the other side and the baffle fell off for the center blade. Did not need that either. Sorry can't be of help. Sorry can't be of help. |

David, thank you for the photo and your posts. That part of your mower looks different from any I have seen. This thread is now so far down that perhaps no one will look at it again. Today I found a used model 306 on an implement lot. The discharge chute on it was rather beat-up but clearly showed me how mine should look. The RM59-1 and the 306 chutes are not exactly the same, but have the same general shape. I now grasp the concept.
The others who posted probably have mowers that have suffered from the effects of time and rough use- like mine. |
