Excess Fuel Button Cold Start 1155

I bought this 1155 last weekend after some great advice and tips here on this board. I have one more question that maybe y'all can help me with. So far, it won't start when cold unless I give it a shot of ether. I found the place to mount a can behind the grill up front, and the button under the starter switch works fine to get it started. But I've been reading through the archives for a few days now, and I've seen mention of an excess fuel button on the right side of the injector pump to help cold starting. This button is even listed in the cold starting procedure on the console. But here's my problem: I can't for the life of me find the button! I pressure-washed the injector pump to clean off all of the old crud, and found a parts diagrams on-line. But I still can't find it. I have an operator's manual and shop manual already ordered, and I am hopeful that one of them will have a picture of where it's at. In the meantime, could one of you be so kind as to give me a description of where to look and what to look for? I'd really like to try it and see if that button will help it start without ether.

I do see what might be called a button at the rear of the injection pump, on the right side sort of behind the two levers that are the fuel shut-off and throttle. It doesn't push in, but if this is the button, it appears to be maybe stuck already pushed in. Is this the button that I'm looking for?

If it is the Simms pump like my 860 combine, then the excess fuel button is the pin of the shut off lever. Simply push it until it flushs with the small lever. You will hear a click sound. (The delivery rack moving).
The shut off cable must be in the on position to engage the excess fuel. You were very close!

The fuel lever needs to be over half forward before the button will go in and in real cold full throttle. But I still need ether in really cold weather

Success! That was it! I stumbled out to the tractor in the dark, set throttle to Max and shut off to Open, then pressed on the pin at the pivot point of the fuel shut off lever. It snapped in and I heard it go click inside! I'll see if it starts without ether in the morning.

The button will pop out when the RPM's come up, or you pull the fuel shutoff.
