Does anyone know if TO-20 and TE-20 hood can be interchanged?

The dog legs are different for the TE & TO so they may fit with some fabricating so in my opinion I would say no.

The first TE-20 I owned had a TO hood on it, It fit like it was meant to be there.

The two hoods general dimensions are pretty much the same -ie width, length, curvature. The problems come with attaching the doglegs and grill(s). My TE20 has a TO20 hood, but previous owner had done some minor cutting, tack-welding, and bolting in order to make it work.

Obviously, if you have the complete package of hood, doglegs, and grillwork, the switchover is not a problem.

A complete hood will interchange, not all parts will though. The main difference is the catch arrangement at the drivers end...John(UK)

Jerry,

Which tractor do you have and which hood do you want/need.

I have a TO-20 hood but would like a TE-20 if a trade is in our mutual interest.
