Does anyone know if there is any other engine that would bolt-up to a TO35 other than the Continental?
Gas or diesel. |

Perkins 3 cyl diesel, Standard 4 cylinder diesel, Standard spark ign engine,Perkins 6.354... In fact any MF engine will fit the bell housing it is the front cradle that gives the problems. So if you buy an engine out of a wreckers, then get the cradle also. Fuel tanks can also be very different as can battery trays/platforms and rads. Most of these things can be 'made to fit' if you just want a working tractor.

Take a look at this recent thread. Apparently Ford V8 221,260 and 289 (289 prior to 1965) all have 5 bolt bellhousings very close.

Here's an outfit that makes alot of engine adapters for vintage engines to modern trnasmissions. No reason why they couldn;t make one for some modern engine to Ferguson. mAYBE if bendstons knew ther was enuf demand they would make one.
