i purchased this tractor, from the salvage yard, just before they were going to crush it for scrap.the sheet metal looks just like the 445 sheet metal, but i beleive that the tractor is possibly a big mo.for some reason they ripped the serial tag off ,and when i asked about it,they didnt seem to know anything about it.is there any way else to identify it as one of the big mo,s or not,and if there is,just which one of the three models,it could be? |

If you can give the engine #, seperate plate, we can tell the tractor it was origionally in. Big Mos have the industrial frontend and heavier wheel centers in the rear. hth |

I purchased what I thought was one of the 70 "445-M" s with no chassis S/N Plates, but I later figured out what I have is a "Big Mo 400-M". They both use a 220 engine in place of the 206 but the clutch lever is mounted different. The Big Mo is like a Jet Star and the 445 clutch is different. Also the floor boards are different.
What I am trying to say is the 445 the clutch lever is mounted on the shaft coming out of the bellhousing and the Jet/BigMo the lever is mouned under the floor boards and has a link up to the side of the bellhousing.
