One of our Ferguson guys lost his Mum to cancer last year.He has been growing a small plot of oats just to have something to do with his tractors as he has no farm (playing!) So this year he decided to have a bit of a threshing day(yesterday) to raise a few pounds for Marie Curie cancer care. About 100 people turned up at an event that was not advertised, only by word of mouth....Most turned up to see his Ferguson collection! In total to date we raised £860 from contributions and the sale of the corn and straw (£1.00=$1.65) Just thought you might like to see the pics and how different our threshing boxes look....
Sam

So? The second one down? Is that one of the extra rare Ferguson 3 point washing machines? Does a good job lathering up some suds.
Another looks like some sort of winnower? And there's a tedder/ windrow inverter? Seems some implements are regional, like all the disc plows in southern states, and none near me... not fair.

Tony, that machine is the rare Ferguson Foam party machine, the girls in bikinis arrived later from the Irish pub down the road! The 6th pic down is a potato digger, not very common in USA . Wish I could put captions to the pics!. The washing machine/foam party item is a Ferguson water pump with 4 inch pipe and ran all day with the tractor on tickover , the foam was an antifreeze idea to try to colour the water so it would be more visible for the cameras, It didn't just go to plan but still the girlies made it all good!
LOL....Sam
