|
|
I know the big boys have bigger, newer stuff, but I'm just a simple small time guy who is in need of a part. Trying to harvest beans and the drive hub on the rasp bar shaft (the one that the sprocket is mounted on) needs replacing. It sheared the keystock or appears to have and the hub was worn out of shape where it slides onto shaft. I have tightened the two set-bolts just as tight as I can get them and it still gets wobbly very quickly. Does anyone have one they are willing to part with or know of a place where one might be had? I am in South Carolina. JD Part # is H61961 in parts catalog. |

If you can't find the part, maybe a good machine shop can rebuild the worn one. |

I was going to suggest what DIck2 did. Boring the old hub for an insert might be an option.
In my neighborhood, American Implement in Mount Calvary, WI might have something.
Worthington Ag parts got me some 105 parts last year... I call somewhere in Iowa, I think Iowa City. Their parts systems didn't function via JD's numbers anymore... but I emailed a picture of what I wanted, and came up with something.
It may be helpful to know in advance if that same hub is used on, say, a 55.
Good Luck and I hope you get her going again. |
