Today I met Steve-Wi when he brought up a NH compact 65 my brother bought from him, and then I helped him load a round baler he was buying from someone else about 20 minutes away.
The lady he bought the baler from has a 1650 gasser in the shed, all that's left to sell. Her and her husband are moving, I think over near Antigo. I gave it a quick look over drove it some (used it to put the baler on the trailer) and here's what I know, from the 20 minutes I checked it over:
New Goodyear rear tires 15.5x38
Good fronts, Firestone 6.00x15
weak brakes, think they're oil soaked
clutch needs adjustment
burns some oil, but still runs strong
pipe in manifold is wobbly, but no other cracks or reason to replace manifolds, just weld it in place and be done
PTO lever is on the right side
just a fuzz over 5000 hours
Hydraulics were low and the steering was stiff, but still there. Not sure if the pump needs to be replaced or not, but wouldn't surprise me.
hydrapower works good. I put it in 4th gear and climbed a fair hill, had a good shift uphill.
has the original top link
comes with a box with a spare oil filter, spark plugs, 3 pt. drawbar, pins, etc...
Needs a little work, but it could be run in the field for a few years before giving it an overhaul.
Overall a relatively straight tractor with pretty good paint yet.
I don't have anything in it, just thought I may have a better audience than she does and figured I'd try to help her sell it. We don't need another tractor right now, but if I had some cash to spend I'd consider it myself. It's located in Reedsville.

She was hoping to get $4000 but I told her it just wasn't worth it being that it's a gas model.
I can put you in touch if you're interested.
