Hello, I have a 1964 Oliver 1800c gas that has been having problems since I bought it 2 years ago. The engine started knocking at certain rpms so I just tore it down and found the wrist pin bushings to have been the problem. I just rebuilt it and started it up yesterday and it sounds good now! my next problem to fix is the hydraulics. When I bought it the 3pt raised really slow but blamed it on the winter weather and cold oil. Turns out that's not the problem because it does it in 100 degree summer heat. Now it won't raise at all unless you pull one of the hydraulic levers and then it just bumps up a little on every pull. I'm hoping someone may have had this happen and could give me an idea of what's wrong. Thank you. |

There's a bolt down by your right heal when you're sitting on it,takes a 3/4 inch wrench, has a narrow lock nut.Back it off, loosen the locknut a little and make sure that bolt is turned all the way in. It pushes a ball in to a socket and that ball has to be tight for the 3pt to work.
If that isn't it,somebody else will have to suggest something. |
