The 275 is leaking hyd. oil where the pto lever is. Looks to be a stub shaft going into the trans. and leaking around the O-ring. Do you need to remove the trans./lift cover to get access to some plumbing etc, so you can remove the small cover where the pto lever is? |

Yes, lift cover must be removed for line access on back side of PTO shift cover before it can be removed. |

Hi, its rare to have a leak from there. Check to make sure that the transmission is not over-filled.

In addition, check that all the bolts on the cover are snug. I've had one to work loose and start leaking, snugged it up and leak stopped. Your mileage may vary. |
