Is there anything special about changing the starter drive on a 1977 Ford 3600 Gas? |

getting the correct extension/socket combo can be interesting.....recommend leaving the loader installed; your bad word vocabulary needs the practice |

If the starter has enough hours on it that it needs the drive replaced I would probably have the whole starter rebuilt - brushes, bushings, turn the commutator etc.
As dogobat says get the right combo of extensions for that rear bolt. The job is pretty easy. |
