Can anyone tell me the best option for adding a cold weather heater to a 40 series ford (7740). The thermal start doesn't cut the mustard when it gets cold. Freeze plug heater?

I'd just go to the local Car Quest or whatever your favorite one is, and get a block heater (freeze plug heater). That's what I have on all mine, though mine are all older than your 7740. |
