Alright Oliver guys and gals I need some help. I had this guy call be a couple of years ago had this old wire tie baler he wanted to get rid of, he thought it was a case and I'm thinking NCM Case baler. Well today I was close to it at an auction and the owners wanted to know if I wanted to take a look.
Well it turns out it's an Oliver and tag read T-10 ser. 43e97 as far as I coud tell. Has the tube to hold the wire, the wood seat for one to sit on. Has a Continental engine (stock of coarse) radiator missing cap, fuel tank missing cap. Tires in the dirt, 900-24's. Had some massive gears on it. There was one chain which looked like was taken off but hanging there that looked like it may have run the pickup. Was a big outfit for that era. He was thinking of hauling it to iron salvage dealer and sell it for scrap. I told him I would give him scrap price for it and I would haul it if I could get a trailer across the creek.
The one time I didn't have my camera. I would love to save it from the scrapper. Is there any collector valve in something like this??. I pictures do tell a whole lot more. Will do some searching to see if I can find a picture.
