Was looking at a sale bill a few weeks ago and one of the tractors listed caught my eye. A '57 GB on propane with the tank mounted on the back.In 1964 I customized a GB, copied the new Case Comfort King with the fuel tank on the back and the operator up on top out of the heat and dust. I was able to visit my old GB when Mr. Leake had open house before the auction. Thanks for the memories, it was definately my old Minnie and I hope a collector instead of a scrapper wound up with her.

P.S. I always referred to this tractor as my home made GB Vista.

Harry, "GB Vista" is pretty funny, but how many of them did you make??

There was one at a sale in eastern KS a year or so ago that looked pretty similar, but it had more paint left on it. A very, very neat job - a person had to look pretty carefully to tell that it wasn't factory...

Perhaps you inspired some copycats!

Howard

I know the G1355 brought 8100.00

Howard, I only made the one and really never got it finished, had planned for hydralic brakes and power steering but got away from the farm and the tractor.
