First in response to Mike's post below that was my son Ryan Haass' 530 at the FFA convention. The winners in the 2012 National contest were Grand Champion Ryan Haass Devine Tx Case 1070 Demonstrator, Reserve Champ Collin Graff Hondo Tx John Deere Model A and Third place Matt Mahler Iowa Park Tx Ford 600. Ryan is my youngest son and only the second kid to ever win the National contest two times. My other son and my daughter both had a Reserve champion while they were competeing. My three kids were finalists 9 times altogether. This is also the first time all the winners were from Texas. Collin only lives 10 miles away from us, his Dad and I have known each other for many years. Chevron sponsors the contest and the 1070 will be on display at some farm shows this year. When we get details I'll try to let everyone know where, we would enjoy meeting y'all at the shows. Thanks Tony

Congrats to Ryan! You should be proud as well. Look forward to hearing where the 1070 will be on display.

Tony, you should be proud of the jobs the kids have done. Its great to see young people get interested in the old old tractors. Wasn't that your daughter that had the "different" colored tractors? Waiting to see pictures of the 1070.

Thanks for the replies, I couldn't be more proud. When they called Ryan's name as this years winner I cried like a baby. Didn't do much for my tough cowboy image. Lol By the way the last three champions have been Case tractors the 1070, the 530 and a 1200 also a Texas tractor. Thanks Again Tony
