I am working on a IH Case 585. Year model is 1990-1991 from what the customer tells me. Where is the model and serial number tag.
I may have to pull the injection pump. Is it a keyed gear or do you have timing marks to line up. I have pulled many pumps but never one of this type.Looks like real fun with loader on it.
Looking for any help.I can get. Customer said it was running fine. Then started to cut out like a gas engine would with bad plugs. New filters on and bled out. Fuel up to the pump. But nothing from the pump.

The serial # tag is on the front casting right above the axle on the right side. Loader frame likely nearly covers it. I think early 585s had a different Bosch pump from later 585s. Later ones did not have the advance.
