I went to the 3rd day of a consignment auction today. They had 25 to 30 of these big long green panels laying in piles that they were selling. I asked a couple of guys that brought some what they were for and they said they did not know. They were using them for cattle pens or something. As they were loading them, one of them had a decal on it that said Crustbuster Boll Buster. We were about 50 miles or so from the Crustbuster plant in Dodge City, Ks. Best I can tell from the internet, is they are a "grain cart" for cotton? The panels were selling for 5 to 15 dollars for choice. Kansas is does not grow enough cotton for one of those! You would have thought they would have sent them to a dealer that had sold the most of them so someone could get some use out of them. At least to one of the cotton growing states. |
