OT: Toyota Fuel Pump/Issue Update

I posted a question last week about the fuel problem I was having in my '92 Toyota truck. Dropped the tank this weekend and changed out the pump and strainer. It fixed the problem. Of course that was after dropping the tank a second time and fixing my screw up . . . God's way of telling me to slow down and read installation instructions I suppose. I only missed the first half of the game I was trying to make it home to see.

Thanks for the update. I drive a 1993 toyota pickup that my boss let me use after the timing chain went out. He said if I wanted to fix it then I could drive it for say awhile. At the time it had 258,000. I am now at 336,000 and it runs good, body is pretty bad. I use about 1 quart of oil in 2000 miles which I think is pretty good. I love that truck and average about 24 Mpg. For 6 years now it has been very dependable. About a month ago I had to put J and B weld to fix a hole that rusted in the top of the gas tank. They are bad about that but I still consider it to be a very good dependable pickup.
