Headed for Canton Thursday (11/1) and looking forward to finding lots of farm toy treasures. Thanks again for the thoughts and advice about getting around the place.

Yep, had a good time there! Didn't find anything I wanted, but it was fun looking. The womenfolk had more fun and spent more money than we guys did, but we went back to the RV and watched football on Saturday.
Stayed at the Canton I-10 RV Park..Nice, roomy place with good folks in charge.
Saw lots of folks at First Monday with big hats on...don't know if they were real cowboys or just "All hat and no cattle".

Glad you enjoyed it. We go about twice a year, but it's only a 4 hour drive for us. Usually stay in the RV park across the street from the East gate. Something different to see everytime. |
