When putting on new radiator hoses, should any type of sealant be used? |

No. Just recheck the clamps after you warm it up good. |

if it's on an old trsactor and the nozzles are badly pitted and eroded.. celan with wire wheel and sand paper.. and if it's bad enought hat it may leak.. smear a lil red or black rtv on there, and seat hte hose. let cure fully before filling and using.. down want any rtv getting into cooling passageways |
