finally got my vac to running and bought a drag type disk now I need a plow. What will a VAC pull? Would like a case plow if I could find one resonably priced.

Depends on your soil. I have clay and rocks. Most of my VAC's will pull 1-16, 2-12's or 2-14's pretty easy. My Eagle Hitch plows are 1-16 2 way and 2-14.

I've got a Slat Bottom 2-14 Eagle Hitch VAC Plow, never been in the ground. We put it together with all NOS parts. It's here in Upstate New York & I'd like to see it put to good use.

I don't know what a slat bottom plow is, but 2-14's is a good match for a DC around here.

Instead of a solid moldboard, there were actually slats. They were designed mostly for sticky soils.

If it's a double bottom plow, I would go any larger than 2-12's.

I own 3 VA's. I would not go any bigger than a 2-10, especially in a trailer plow.

Case also made a mounted plow for the non-eagle hitch VAC.
