can someone tell me where i can buy some wing extentions for my MF62 plow (red one)
the plow (gray one) picture has the extentions on top of the wings.
I really do not know what to call them, but would think they would help my old plows turn the dirt over better.
Thanks

I"ve read several times on here & over on the ntractor=club site , that the Amish had forged various plow parts . If you can locate an Amish blacksmith , you may hit a pot of gold . If you are so lucky , maybe you can share with me & others ? All Amish in my area are whats called carpenters . HTH ! God bless, Ken |

Those are called coverboards or trash boards. They are for the most part universal and can be found online at places like Shoup. However, you need brackets to bolt them to, and that may be more of a challenge. |

Those are cover boards, extensions are a mostly flat piece about a foot long that bolts to the back end of the moldboard to better cover bu lelping turn the furrow over that wants to fall back without them. Those are what I had. Bought a plow with the coverboards on and took them off as did not like them, nothing but problems. |

Try the local MF dealer. I bought new coverboards and the associated brackets for an MF 66 plow just recently. Cost was around $75 per bottom IIRC. #66 plow is essentially the same as a #62, only with trip beams. Same coverboards.... |
