We recently purchased a Tye 20ft drill with a grass seed attachment. This attachment has not been used in some time and we cleaned it out thoroughly by using a shop vac and bent awn to get the dirt out of each drop. We then tried graphite as a lubricant to get the shaft to turn. It still turns very hard and I am afraid that we will break a shaft or some other damage will be done. Does anyone know what I can use to lubricate the plastic drops to make it turn like it should? Any help would be appreciated.

Try silicone spray. It will not harm the plastic.
