I have asked questions earlier on my WD mag when the drive pin sheared and then trying to re time it. With the help on this board I was able to get it back together and running fine for a while. It then started to run poorly eventually stalling and not restarting. When I took the mag off and lined the marks on flywheel up the grooves for the mag tabs are in completely different positions than before. The pin is good so is there something else that is worn or out of alignment behind the drive hub? Thanks for your help.

The timing mark on the flywheel will come up twice 1 time for compression and one time for exhaust stroke so the rotor will be correct one time and then 180 off the next time so good chance you have #1 at TDC of the exhaust stroke

I finally got around to looking at this and discovered the pin that goes through the shaft and gear in the govenor is sheared. Do you know where I can get parts for the govenor? I need the pin and the bearing that is on the piece with the weights does not turn so I am assuming it is froze. Thanks for the help. Dennis

Check at an AGCO dealer they will most likely have it or if not they will probably have a clue as to where to find it
