I got the injector pump off my 1600. And took it apart to find the two plungers stuck. Very very lightly tapped them out and freed them up. I happy with that. What I did want to see was the plastic plate broke up in several chunks. It looks to be a non-replaceable disc. Anyone have a good one or know of a good parts store to get a new one.

That part is called a flex ring. It comes in a new seal kit. If you search on ebay for Roosa-Master or Stanadyne, they are on there and not that expensive. WB<><. |

Soak the new ring in HOT water for a while and use external snap ring pliers to spread the hole out to slip it over the pins. Lots of cussing otherwise. They also make an updated version of the unit that does away with the ring but more costly. Chances are you will never have to replace it again anyway. |
