I recently found a "new in box" straw spreader for a
Model "A" combine. The parts are all green but has a
case IH instruction manual.
Any market for a literally NEW in box unit
such as this?
Thanks! |

You evidently are not aware, Richard, that throughout the 1940's and most of the 1950's. Case used green to compliment the flambeau red (orange) color. While the primary machines (tractor, combines, etc) were orange, most of the attachments and options were green. It was the late 1950s before Case began using the desert sunset (yellow) in place of the green. Some implements w/ the green paint were still being sold into the early '60s |

The hitch and frame of dad's model A Case combine were green. I think it was common on their combines of that era. |
