I have ran in to this problem twice now and have never heard of it from anyone else. On the splined hub, if I remove the lock collar all the way the hub sprigs out far enough for the splines to tighten on the sides. I have to partialy tighten the lock ring to get the splines to line up correctly so the hub will move. This is on perfectly clean hubs and axles. Seen it on two different tractors now. Am I doing something wrong?
