|
|
I have a "53 John Deere R that when I run am getting oil showing up from under or around the pony motor. I believe it shows up when diesel is running & not the pony. Cant really see where its comming from other than the edge of the base of the pony. Any clues as how to seal it up other than lifting pony ? Thought about going all around pony base w/a sealant such as RTV silicone. Am open to any other suggestions or would like to hear if anyone else has had this problem. |

If it is the main engine leaking through the inspection cover you will have to lift the pony to seal. It may be the seal on the pony in the trany. Mine went out and replaced in a couple hours. |
