workin on pto out of 60 serial number 6026331, how many clutchs and seperator plates should it have, JD dealer says 5 and 6 but i cant get it adjusted to be tight , acts like needs more clutchs |

WTR sells pretty good clutch kits, and they say 6/7/2, but that might mean using their parts. Did you download the free parts book? It says a plate with facings on each end, then 6 drive disks, and 5 drive plates. That totals 13 to me.

Got to use a little imagination with Google. Try "WTR" and "Parts" or "WTR" and "Tractor".

Here is a picture of mine. I count 8 frictions 7 steels and 2 end plates. I did mine about 2 summers ago. Hope it helps.
