What is a IH no. 31 mower worth. Old but complete.

Around here they're worth 3-500.00 for three-point. A No. 31 fits an M, doesn't it? That might be a little harder to get rid of, because of limited tractor interchangeability. Concentrate on I.H. publications when you're doing your advertising. (if you want to sell it, that is)

Is that not a semi-mount that is solid drawbar mount with one caster wheel in back? Hand lift or culinder lift?

You're right about the semi mount and single wheel in the back as I have a model 31. Mine is hydraulic. I don't think there is much demand for a mowing machine that age and has a wooden pitman. Probably scrap price is about all they are worth.

I've got a #32 trailer mower, which is basically the same as the #31. Mine needs a better cutter bar, not just the sickle, the whole bar.

I bought one about 15 years ago for $75. Saw one at a dealer's a couple of years later and thought maybe I would pick it up for parts, he wanted $600 (no sale on that one). It works fine, I pull it with an H.

Cannot help with the value, but I have one I use on a C. I have been looking around locally for quite a while to find one for parts with no luck. For some reason the IH sicle mowers seem scarce in my area, and probably much worse now due to the scrappers.
