Had a fellow that I rent ground from ask me to look at a this combine to see if I thought it needed to go to scrapper or possibly be sold to collector or someone who would want it to fix for use or show. Machine has set in a closed shed on concrete for about 18 years. Paint would look good with a cleaning, tires were cracked a little but all were holding air, had the typical mouse smell, gas in tank had turned black, and has the slant six Chrysler engine. 13' rigid head with wood bats.I think the machine is to good to be scrapped and needs a home where it will be loved and hated at the same time. It is located about 10 miles NE of Quincy Illinois. If interested, reply back and I can get pictures of machine on here for you.

Wow?? Was raised on a 300... It was a sweet running sucker that would talk the talk when the engine loaded up.. Scrap? no way.. Talked to some central Mo. farmers several years ago who saved fescue seed.. They told me the 300 was still the best machine they had found to save those small seed
