I have a TO-30 that wants to stall in 2nd gear and while I'm my 5' finish mower. I can get it going sometimes but when I get to the smallest incline it will stall. Any help would be great. |

What does your spark look like? Should be FAT AND BLUISH-WHITE.
Is the carb getting adequate fuel?
Is the main jet(large screw on fuel bowl) adjusted correctly(1-1/4 to 1-1/2 turns out)? |

Sounds like your governor isn't working....have someone walk next to the tractor and watch the gov. carb arm when you put it under load...if it doesn't move that's what it is. Bobinva |
