|
|
Hey guys,
Just got a New Holland 467 Haybine. I am looking at the cutter bar assembly and am confused about the parts catalog. Under the cutter bar assembly section, what is the difference between 38 &39? 38 is a guard, knife, and 39 is a guard assembly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
God Bless,
Nate |

38 is a regular guard and 39 is the optional stub guards that some people install. |

So are the stub guards just a wider version of the knife guards? I am looking for the stub guards for my haybine, as I will be cutting some thick orchardgrass. Do I need higher hold-downs? Thanks.

Also, do these cutter bars have wear plates under the knife hold-downs like on my sickle bar mower? Thanks. |
