Got home from the Farm Bureau banquet this evening, and found out that my Granddaughter, STINKY, got her first buck this evening. 137 lbs. dressed, 4+2 rack, half of one side was broken off, probably during velvet. Boy, is she excited! Dad held the 20 ga. for her, she sighted and pulled the trigger after sighting the buck. This was her first hunt!

Oh, and by the way, she is FIVE YEARS OLD!!!!

I'll try to figure out how to transfer some pictures and post them later....

Hunting was food on the table when I was a small kid, so I didn't think much about it. By the time I got to college, most of the game had disappeared so I just quit hunting.

Now I hunt for meat in the supermarkets. Much easier and costs less.
