The "img" tags need to be "touching" the link to the image:
If the tires are burned off the tractor in these pictures (I haven't seen them yet), then it's scrap metal. |

As for them being "prone" to fires? I'm not aware of it.
There are always freak accidents, unexpected failures, first times for everything. Also lack of maintenance can contribute, letting grease-soaked dust and chaff accumulate where it gets very hot, for example. |

There was a build up of rag weed seeds everywhere. I don't know how you could stop that.
In the fire pic you can see them build up on the step. |

you still have paint on most of it that counts
aluminum is not melted, well worth fixing. |

It is pictures like these that make me wonder why I don't fit a suitable fire extinguisher on each of my tractors. If it is repairable, I can certainly recommend a 454 with the d179 diesel. Not sure what would be required for the change over my my old 454d is a snotty little tractor. |
