I just bought a ferguson tractor, serial number 8537. Is it a TE-20 model or a TE-20 witn a letter (A,B,etc.) I am lookinf for a maintenance manual. I am not very good witn mecanics so this must be a very easy serviove manual. Can
someone help me please.

Were are you getting the that number from? It should be on the dash and start out as TE xxx/TEA xxx or TOxxx if it's a TE model it will have the continental motor it will have raised numbers by the oil pan Z120 if not it may be the TEA which is the standard motor co. made in England hope that can help some.

Here is how to ID what you have.

If the SN is TE8537 then it is a 1947 TE-20.

Hi Robert, I have an original Harry Ferguson,Inc
dealer shop manual covering TE-20,TO-20,TO30,187
pg.,specs.lots of pics.Light use and a few smudge
spots. No need-so $15-plus $4 postage if US.Also
an IT unused for half that price. Chuck
