Will a W6 motor bolt to an M bell housing without any mods to either? What about motor mounts? I have a W6 with a good motor and bad rear-end. Might be able to buy an M with good rear-end and bad motor. Thanks.

The W, I, and O-6 all used the same block as the M.

Same way the W, I, and O-4 all used the same block as the H.

No, a W6 motor will NOT bolt on to an M bell housing without modifications:

You need to transfer the front cover and rear plate off the M engine on to the W6 engine first.
