I want to get a good muffler for my Super M. I have the old one on it and I've run it into garage doors, trees, a guide wire for a pole... yeah I have hit a lot. But I am building a new garage and wont have that problem(and will be more careful) anymore. I want to get a good looking stainless muffler, or a muffler that has a good paint that wont rust. Discolor isn't bad but I don't like rust. Any good ones out there? I have sunk a lot of money in it but I am willing to get a good muffler as I use it a lot and like my hearing intact. |

Check with Ken Updike at Carter & Gruenwald. 608-455-2411. He was in the process of getting stainless IH mufflers fabricated. I don't know the current status. |

For what its worth--I have used C&G for a lot of things but haven't bought a muffler from them. Have had awfully good luck with OEM for original sounding and looking mufflers. Have one on my Super M, H, and C and am totally satisfied.

The latest news is that they will be arriving soon. I estimate 2-3 weeks or so I may have them. |
