we got 1.25 here Saturday night and Sunday morning, my wheat had come up well on all but 16 acres where NRCS decided to build some mountains...I mean terraces and a lot of scrapping had been done. This is the first time I have seen terraces pushed up from the back side...anyway the ground was awful dry and my stand was spotty this rain was just in time to fill it in.

We got just under 2 inches here in SE Iowa.

It all soaked in and I"ll take another 5 before it freezes up.

Yeah i got right at an inch just south of Lyndon. My wheat actually looks great but I know it is dry and will need a lot more to get through winter.

We got about an inch and a half here. Hopefully will be able to get back in later this week to put anhydrous down and spray fall burndown and residual. Just finished up sowing wheat sunday. This should bounce it up real nice.

I like hearing about what everyone has to do for their wheat this time of year. I just sit here and sip on a beer wondering what's taking them so long! Laughing

I hear we got .4, too cold to keep the rain gauge out any more, high today was 27 I think.

We got .9 for the month so far, one of the wettest since May. But, we got a good crop comapred to you, I don't know how or what it lived on. 12 inches in May, but that was gone by July....

No water in my ditch, only the 3rd time I've seen that, we have very high watertable here.

We couldn't have a 3rd dry year in a row coming up?
