Ok, here we go again. After I replaced the C-1 clutches, master seal kit, new pistons, and the "large" snap ring that goes inside of the drum, I slid her back together. Filled it up with new oil and went to start it up for the first time when the new problem was discovered. When I split her, she was in neutral, however, now its stuck in 4th. I jumped the neutral safety switch and turned it over several times. Still unable to get it out of 4th tho. Any suggestions? I REALLY don"t want to split her again

Are you SURE that the C2 and C3 clutch packs went togather freely?

Well figured out the "stuck in forth range" issue. I don't know how or why, but to fix it, I took off the shifting panel and slid the rear spool forward to get it in reverse. Now I was finally able to start it up just to find out everything I've replaced and the long cold nights spent in the shop was all for nothing. Sent her on a trailer today to the dealership since I STILL have no reverse, and still have a severe grinding when changing ranges. Told the driver to take it to the dealership or the scrap yard whatever he wanted. He laughed, but the funny thing is I was completely serious. I've NEVER had a tractor cause me so many problems....... Either the dealer will fix it, or scrap is high enough to forget about it for awhile.
