Where is a good place to find info to identify M heads. A friend wants to pep up his M and would like to find out what type of head he has. If an all fuel what is a good swap with out spending a fortune? |

Someone asked that question not to long ago, check the archives. I have an all fuel head on my M and the cast number is 87777 I believe so I rebuilt the motor with step head pistons which really helped boost the HP but it was costly. If your buddy is looking for a bit more power look for a M gas head or you could go with a Farmall 450 head and really get some more power. |
