What is the 352612R91 pre cleaner (jar) for? I would guess to collect some particles before it goes to the oil bath?

Correct you mite be surprised how much dirt the jar will get in dusty conditions.

Yea,they also catch "Green tractors" in them if they get in our way or cross our path!

The jar works kind of like those bagless vacuums do.

Dyson's "cyclone technology" is nothing new. They had it in the 1940's, maybe earlier.

Here is a pic of mine. I got it pretty cheap but don't have the
correct jar. I just put an old canning jar on it.
