What is the 352612R91 pre cleaner (jar) for? I would guess to collect some particles before it goes to the oil bath? |

Correct you mite be surprised how much dirt the jar will get in dusty conditions. |

Yea,they also catch "Green tractors" in them if they get in our way or cross our path! |

The jar works kind of like those bagless vacuums do.
Dyson's "cyclone technology" is nothing new. They had it in the 1940's, maybe earlier. |

Here is a pic of mine. I got it pretty cheap but don't have the
correct jar. I just put an old canning jar on it.
