|

Just wondering if someone with literature (don't have any myself, yet) can tell me how much the header weighs (JD 40-SP). No quick attach, it does have the feeder housing attached. Have a chance to get a spare one, but seller is clueless to the weight, as I am. Would like to take my car with the small trailer instead of the big truck to pick it up ...
Thanks in advance, Ralph. |

My original sales literature says a 40 JD round back combine weighs 5000 lbs...It shows a square back at 5300 lbs...The literature doesnt tell the weight of the grain head..
I"m guessing 1000-1200 lbs for a 10 ft header..A JD 2 row 205 corn head for a 40 weighs 1334 lbs.. |
