I have an early model with dry clutch. The question is, what is the purpose of the shift spool near the filter? It has the little tab on it to move it.
Thanks in advance!

I think you are referring to the hyd pump drive shifter, this is to be shifted only when engine is off and allows the hyd pump to be shut off when not in use cnt |

If my thinking is clear, it is an option to have the hydraulics "off" the next time the tractor is started? |
