I bought a H farmall that was stuck and after getting it loose I decided to tear it down and found #1 cylinder had water in it and has pitted th cyl. wall top 1 and 1/2" This engine had almost no hours on rebuild, with oversize fire crater step pistons. Question can I buy 1 sleeve and piston or one sleeve by itself? Piston is fine rings are ok just don't want to try with pitted sleeve Is there a dealer that sells fire crater sleeves/pistons that i might talk to about this? Any Help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Marti

The red power piston looks to be the same as the IH fire crater. You can buy just one.

Try here at Yesterdays Tractors under tractor parts. You can buy one sleeve. I have been pleased with parts from here, and delivery was very fast. Ordered a carb early one Thursday morning, had it in my hand Saturday afternoon!
Best Regards,
Charlie

I bought a stuck 300 in May and replaced one piston and sleeve that were badly damaged from water. it is running fine up to now, I have only been running it since August and have put maybe 30 hours on it so far. If the piston and rings are good I would just get a new or good used sleeve and try it.

You might just get away with a sleeve and rings.
